They pulled out the cath, all his pacemaker wires and took main arterial line out today. His central line has been working great so we are so glad about that. The color in his leg is looking so much better and the swelling has gone down a little. His body all over does have some swelling more than yesterday which this is common after being put on bypass, the extra Lasix will help take all the excess off. I'm so thankful I got to hold him for about 10 mins, He loved it, but it was so hard getting him out considering all the wires and tubes hooked to him. I will get to hold him again before his 6 feed. They only wanted him up twice today. They said tomorrow we should be able to hold him more when he gets all his chest tubes out. They have weaned him all the way down to 1/2 liter of oxygen flow so this is great news.
We are anticipating his MRI tomorrow and praying so hard for that spinal fluid that's resting on his brain stem, we are hoping that test will come back good. Thank you for praying for us and we are so ready for Jaden to start to feeling better. James and I have been switching off today taking cat naps here and there so we are praying for a calmer night pain free. We will continue to keep you updated.
Our hearts are so heavy for little David and his family. There's not a second that passes that we don't think of them and imagine just a year ago we where right there in their shoes standing over Jaden seeing his little HEART beat with everything it had. My heart is with his mommy and how she has said that she can't stand in the room, I was the exact same way and it does get better it's just so hard to think that it can right now. We are lifting you up in prayer. We love you all!!!!!
