Sunday Update

From James, Kacey and Jaden... Jaden had a better night last night, my mom said he did better because she spent the night with us here at the hospital. She watched over him all night so James and I could get caught up on some much needed rest. This week is Spring Break here in Kentucky and she is so glad now she can spend this week with him and not have to worry about her classroom. Head CT results from this morning has showed just a slight difference from yesterday's in the blood (DECREASED A LITTLE IN SIZE) Praise the LORD!!!!!!! We are so thankful it is not actively bleeding and that Jaden's Neurosurgeon commented on he believed the blood looked as if it was smaller in size. There is nothing that Neurosurgery can do to fix this problem it has to resolve itself within his head.It's at a place in the brain that cannot be touched and when we first heard of the blood being there we we where so scarred about it clogging his Brain Shunt, They assured us that it cannot get to his brain shunt. So we are so thankful about that. He will continue to get this new medicine for nausea until the blood has been completely absorbed. He is at 80 cc's of full strength now where as last night he was only getting 1/2 strength every three hours. So far he has only acted like he was gonna get sick his last feed but didn't. The Neurologist told us that the blood aggravates the brain so much that Jade's head feels like a Major Migraine that will not let up, he is either sleeping or crying he has yet to want to play and interact with us but just for a short bit yesterday maybe five to ten minutes and that's only because Shelby Ann came to visit and he played with her just that little bit I just mentioned.

The Heart Team rounded and said if Jaden can tolerate his full feeds throughout today and tonight he could possibly go home tomorrow. We are not gonna mention the H word to Jaden and we are not gonna hold our breath. We want the Lord's right timing for us to go home. When and if we do go home tomorrow he will be seen weekly by the Heart Team and every two weeks for New Head CTs until all the blood is absorbed.

Please pray for Jaden's strength and that his brain will absorb the blood quickly. We know that everyone is continuing to pray for us and that is the only thing keeping us going. The McBride'sJames, Kacey, & Jaden
