Tubes in the Ears

Jenna has been battling ear infections since she was 2 weeks old. We knew that eventually she would have to have tubes. Jagger has had two sets, and they work wonders. So, we knew this would be the solution to her troubled ears. Wednesday, 10-1-08, was the day! We were excited about it, but knew she wouldn't be so thrilled about what was going to happen that morning as you can tell by the look on her face. I love the cute little pink elephant pajamas they have them to wear. They are really soft and colorful for the little kids. They are putting the O2 stat sensor on her finger. It doesn't even hurt, and by the look on her face you would think the nurse is killing her:) Poor little girl! Mommy will make it all better! I had all intentions of getting after pictures, but when she came out she was madder than a hornet! It took a good 15 minutes for us to get her to calm down. She did very well in surgery, and so far the tubes are working and letting all of the infection drain out like they should be. We came home, and she took a good long nap, and had a great afternoon. She's back to normal and happy as can be! Tubes are a wonderful thing for ears!

Blake has tubes too. They have been miracle workers! I remember how upset he was when he woke up. It was so sad!

I'm so sorry, poor sweet little girl. Glad to hear that they are working.
